a quick question,can a faulty injector bring up a code 34 .i know the code 34 is for the mas air flow sensor but i know it is not it,I've changed the idle air control,cleaned up the air intake,n anything to do with fuel delivery.besides the engine sounds like there is a injector fouled up, just want to check with u guys first

My 88 also had a code 34, I thought at first it was the MAF but it turned out to be a simple $10 MAF relay. I would run through the diagnostic chart in GM manual several times to narrow it down. Thats what I did along with some help from others on here, saved alot of money for me. I beleive if you search for MAF or code 34 you will find the diagnostic chart on here somewhere, it may be tough to find though. Hope this helps, Larry.

 

maybe it is a relay i will replace both relays,burnoff relay n the other one that i can't remember,. the maf is pricey dam 500 bucks for a after market with taxes an at gm it is 670 with taxes,n that canadian dollars thx for the help
