Hard start
Hard start
Ok after I leave my car for a long time (or this is really the only time I have noticed it) I find it takes a lot of cranking to get it to start. I have a 350TPI and most ignition stuff is brand spanking new, coil, plugs, wires. I don't know really what is causing it. Any ideas.....pass few days have been stinking hot and thats when I have noticed it most.

Hmmm...
Looks like you went through a tune-up not too long ago if everything is new.
Which makes me think your timing might be off a tad.
Advance the timing a hair and see if that helps.

If you're blowing black smoke out and having a hard start only when it's hot, possibly your injectors are leaking. Otherwise it's prolly ignition related.
There is no smoke at all coming out of the engine. I have just noticed when the car is out in the heat, that it takes a little longer time to crank over and start and was wondering why.
