3.23 gears with this setup?
I can get a good deal on a 4th gen posi with 3.23 gears. I am trying to get the rear-end done for cheap. So I may get them. My setup would be: dacco vette stall converter, 3.23s, lt4 cam, and vortec heads.
Do you think this combo would run ok? I am looking for 8's in the 1/8th mile. I know 3.23s aren't great but I have 2.73s now. So its still a step up. Plus this is my daily driver so milage is an issue.

3.4x's might be better, but I don't see 3.23's as being a bad choice. 3.73's or 4.11's are a bit steeper for the f-body than, say, the Fords, because the 700-R4 has a numerically higher overdrive gear ratio.
