ARP Lube

Starting the 400 build today guys. Have splayed main caps and because of the angle of the caps the outside bolts screw into the water passage partially. So im using ARP lube on everything to get the correct torque yeild but will this cause coolant to flow past it and mix with my oil? Do i have to use a teflon type liquid or will the ARP lube keep the water out as well?

I would definately use the liquid teflon and just use the "standard" torque specs (only on the outer bolts though).

WAG but i'd think you'd want to of used some grout before you drilled the bolt holes. at any rate i'd use some sort of non hardening sealeer, like tefelon pipe sealer on the bolts.
