Valve stuck open

not sure what number it is. The 4th valve from the front on the passenger side is stuck open. I can't seem to ge the pushrod to sit right.

I first noticed a popping sound under higher rpms so I removed the valve cover and noticed that the valve wouldn't close. I removed the rocker and since then I can't get the pushrod to sit properly and now it makes the loud popping noise always.

Any help would be appreciated.

If you pull the rocker and the valve is still open, would probably mean the stem is stuck in the guide, as opposed to a lifter stuck up in it's bore. Best bet would be to pull the head(s).

or you could smack the stuck valve with a hammer and see what happens. use to stick valves all the time on new kart engines and all it took was a smack with a hammer and no more problems, not to say that you may not have a bigger problem than a stuck valve.
