AFPR setting for my motor

Well I finally got the TPI running right again and I now need some opinions on where the fuel pressure should be set...... For carbed apps on my motor (GM 350 HO Crate), the pressure is recommended at 8 psi if I remember correctly. Now I have the Vortec intake TPI unit sitting on there right now with the AFPR dialed in at 44 PSI. Does that equate to the carb setting??? I also noticed that the preferred timing set up is 10*. I have mine set at about 7* (any higher and I ping).

Gimme your suggestions...I would love to get this thing running to full potential.

well if u have the pressure set at 44 thats a good start but, if u want to find out were your car runs the best you need to take it to the track and adjust it there see what pressure gives u the best results.
