Keep buying the Mobil 1. For the bottles that you pour in your "other vehicles', mower, snow blower, etcetera, you can use a permanent marker and black out the "synthetic" part if it makes you feel better.

I've been using Mobil 1 15W50 in my Briggs-engined mower with no problems. I really don't know how it's working out, though, since the mower is only 18 years old. I'll let you know once it gets some more use. My snowblower isn't quite that old, so I can't tell you much about that other than it always starts.

The only place I've ever had problems with synthetic were in two-strokes, like my old outboard and snowmobiles. The plugs seemed to foul a little faster and generally get more ash and deposits. I went back to mineral oil in those.

What else can I say?

a'ight cool
lol speaking of two stroke fuel/oil mixture brings up a story. I used to date my neighbor well we had a nasty falling out. Big mistake there. A friend and I were outside and her sister was mowing the lawn, but she used her dad's 2 cycle fuel. She mowed and fogged for mosquitos. I laughed until I cried then I laughed somemore. Luckily for her there wasn't much to use and the mower ran out. Then she switched to kerosene. OMG I laughed even harder

i used pennzoil for years and many many miles with no problems. just switched to mobil 5000 for my dino oil. i think the key thing is frequent oil and filter changes at the correct interval rather than what oil. i use M1 in everything but my work car, which gets oil change every 3 weeks.
