should tpi fuel rail hold pressure??
mine is not.it goes up finally stays steady while pump is on and drops right off when you kill fuel pump. it is an aftermarket pump out of i dont know what but shouldnt it hold psi in the fuel rail?

I have only taken pressure reading on a '94 Ranger 4 cyl
, but I believe it did hold pressure. In fact I'm sure of it because I had to relieve the pressure before I could take the guage off. There may be a check valve somewhere that is bad. I don't know that much about it. Hope that helped.

I don't know that much about it. Hope that helped. Yes it should hold. I had the same problem, you have to plug up the return (smaller) line, test again, do not start car. Just turn key 'on' it should have what the pressure calls for. Turn key 'off', if it holds with the return plugged it's your fuel pump in your tank, if it drops again, it's your fuel regulator or leaky injectors.
