ok well I have this weird noise from my car sometimes. I have a 89 Iroc Z with 350 TPI Auto. Well when I turn it makes this weird noise right under me like the tranny or exuast is rubbing or hitting something and I can not figure out what it is. Also when I slow down at a light it has this popping kinda noise right under my shifter I guess. I looked under my car to see maybe if my tranny mount was bad, but it looked ok. I dunno if u can tell if its ok by looking at it or not. It doesnt make any noises while im cruising or anything. Anybody have a clue on what this might be or anyone having the same problems? thanks

to check your tranny mount with the car jacked up of course, put a jack under the rear of the tranny where its solid, or put a board under the pan and raise it that way, jack up the tranny a little bit and see if the mount seperates, its sometimes hard to tell if the mount is broken, this way you can see. lil jay

ok I think I found the problem. Well the 2 bolts that are on the mount that actually bolt to the tranny were finger lose. I tighted them and ow whenever I hit the gas it makes a sqeaking noise for a second. At least it to hit my floor board now.
