Transmission: 700r4??

need help!!!

i put one of those helix tbi spacers on my car and now my cable that goes from the gas pedal to the tbi unit is not long enough. it is just a hair too short and that is making my car run high. does anyone know if there is a way to adjust that cable...or any other fix for my problem
