i have a1989 iroc vin code f
i have recently changed the starter with an ac delco remanufactured starter part number 323-365
after i installed the starter but when i cranked the engine i noticed that the starter was grinding on my flywheel,
i tried shims and that helped but it still grind a bit
i inspected the original starter and noticed that shims where not used
can anybody point me in the right direction here
do i have the right part number or not
or there is any diference in starter gear teth in relation to flywheel
