hey guys im of topic a little because its a 1969 350 firebird ,auto and it does not want to shift until redline and if anyone knows where the oil for the tranny is put not my car so i dont know were to check or add tranny oil please help

 

the trany isent geting any vacume, that is one of the things that tells oldschool tranys when to shift.

 

Yep, there should be a dipstick coming out of the tranny near the firewall.

 

Vacuum modulators suck when they don't work! Or should that be, they don't suck?

 

Check the vacuume hose from the intake manifold down to the modulator, I had same problem on my 2nd gen.

 

i will do that tomorrow . thanks for your help
