Pablo did something this a while ago. He went with a standard waterpump and then added a slider to one of the alternator bolts. I've been thinking about it, but I don't know if want to change the waterpump for all that, even though its a relatively short job.

I guess I should have asked first, you are trying to remove the whole passenger side serp bracket aren't you? It supposedly worth almost 40 lbs (condensor, smog, and bracket).

SLP sells and aftermarket bracket for use whn you install headers on the car. It's says made for 82-87 though.

You could convert to v-belt, and get the March parts. Or you could pony up the cash, and get the entire march system.

Needforspeed, what sliders do you use?

Could you get a different direction wp and then be set without the electric wp?

Wp $25?
sliders $10?
belt $10?

a/c delete pulley $50

Now which weighs less?

I'm ordering the whole March TBI/TPI Serpentine setup for my new motor. I can't wait to get everything assembled and install it all.
