Compression question
I have a ZZ4 engine with tuned port, I was gonna go with a 383 tuned port. You guys think I can run 12:1 compression with aluminum heads on the street and be ok with like 90-92 octane? I figure i'd run cam heads up or 2 degrees advanced

No. You might get away with 11:1; I doubt there's any way at all to make 12:1 pay off with pump gas.
Advancing the cam will make it worse.
