Autometer Oil pressure sending unit, where do you install it?

I have a 91Z28, the oil pressure sending unit for the stock gauge is located above the oil filter, the only thing is that is also the oil pressure switch that cuts the fuel pump if the oil pressure drops, so I guessing I can't remove that stock sending unit.. How else can I install this sender so I can use the autometer gauge? Thanks

Top of the block beside the distributor.

Install it either on the top by the distributor or use a "T" and have both down by the oil filter.

Excuse my ignorance but do you have any more specifics on where exactly next to the distributor? Is it visable by just looking or will I have to remove anything? Pic would be great if possible

Also, will I need any specific adapters to make this work? I'm not sure what kind of room is there but the sender is a pretty sizeable round thing.. What sizes do I need if I do?
Thanks guys

Look for a pipe plug on the block behind the intake.
