Instrument panel and low beams?...

What does it mean if the instrument panel including all the(back lit lights) like the 'ometers, the stereo, etc. and the low beam head lights (first click out) don't work in a Camaro? Is that a fuse? Or the switch? Or what? How can that be fixed?

Any help is appreciated, thanks.

Sounds like a short to me, maybe a bad ground. If it happens when you click the low beams on, I would check the wiring there first. Also you may want to check the headlight switch. I hear when they start to go they can cause all kinds of gremlins.

Yup, gremlins indeed. While I was at work, my bro was tryin to fix the problem, it was a bad switch. It seems the person who owned it before messed up wires. But after that, other lights wouldn't work, it started blowing more fuses, and he had to disconnect a lot of things. The low beams and instru panel works, but the interior, neon, and other lights don't work. An "electrical nightmare" as my bro said. But it'll be alright, if my bro can't do it, my friend can he's an "electrical expert".
