In front is the A.I.R. pump. In back are AC and power steering. I'm out of town so can't go out and look at the car, but if memory serves, the PS is in front of the AC, with the AC belt going around the PS pulley as well.

In case you're wondering, although I have an '86 LG4, I also have an '87 LB9 engine with all accessories, and it's exactly the same.

Five7 is pretty close, but I'll add some info:

All F-body (which are the same for G-bodies and some trucks) v-belt setups are the same for 305s and 350s. They go, in order from the front (farthest from engine) to the back (closest to engine):

A.I.R pump belt (driven off Water Pump)
Alternator belt (ribbed belt, also goes on crank and water pump)
A/C belt (also goes on crank, water pump, and P/S pump)
Power Steering belt (goes only on crank and P/S pump)

All but the alternator belt are v-belts. Check my website and the pics on the bottom of the engine page for somewhat of a picture of the pulleys.

Hope that helps!!

Okay, my AC compressor is off for the time being, I have the PS belt in the front grove of the pump pulley. Besides, I'm 1500 miles away from my car right not. Memory not always 100% reliable. The Regal rental is completely different from the Camaro, no good going out to look at it.

A mind is a terrible thing to waste.

Or, is that, a waist is a terrible thing to mind?

Never mind.

Listen to Matt.

Good night...

It doesnt matter on his 86 but the earlier setups (I think pre 84, err... lets say 84 and earlier) used a V-belt for the alternator as well.

I usually dont use the PS belt, only on wet days sitting in a puddle of water have I ever had a problem with not having it in there, and I am not really sure if it would have mattered anyway. If you do use it, adjust the belts right otherwise it will have a tendency to squeal.
