brakes
When i hit my brakes it makes kind of a hissing noise inside the car.. i checked all the lines and it looks like no vacuum line is off and the pedal isnt as firm as it was.. any ideas guys
Either;
A. The silencer pad in the brake booster is failing or deteriorating and allowing the normal amount of air inrush to make an audible noise;
2. The brake booster is failing, allowing excessive air to enter the booster to assist the brake application.
My guess would be #3.
