LB9 Timing question
Thinking of adjusting my timing and need some advice. All of the current mods are listed in my sig and I do not have any software to view the ecm, but can I adjust the timing via the dist cap and make a positve difference in power? If so, approxiametely how much and to what degree?

Typically. Disconnect the ECM wire, start engine, with engine at idle determine current "base" timing. Adjust it 2 degrees more advanced, reconnect ECM wire, see how it runs. Advance it again 2 more degrees, see how it runs. When it gets worse with more advance, back it down to where it was better.

Thanks five 7,
It may sound stupid, but which ecm connector? The one at the battery?
