I updated the subject for you. There's a bit of difference between "LG4" and "LT4". In fact, "LG4 Performance Cam" is an oxymoron. . .

Ok, first, there are no 92 IROC's. The IROC name was used from 85-90. Yes I know its a technicality, but that counts around here.

Two, is that the LT4 HOT cam with 218/228 duration and .492/.492 lift? Or the stock LT4 cam with 203/210 duration? The HOT cam will not fit with the valve springs used on stock heads. You will need to pull the heads and have them machined for the larger cam, as well as use better springs to handle the lift. If its the stock LT4 cam, you are fine, it will handle it.

Third, yes the 90-92 engines use the speed density computer, and the HOT cam is too big for the computer to handle it. You will need to get a custom chip burned by someone sitting there watching the car on a scan tool, not by someone on the internet mail-order.

There are only two LT4 cams. The stock one or the Hot Cam.

Yes, but not enough to be worth the hassle. Just put some 1.6 roller rockers on your stock cam, more bang for the buck compared to a stock LT4 cam swap.

Where are you getting this "performance cam" notation? FWIW, I think the Hot Cam can be denoted as the performance cam for the LT4 so you may be referring to the Hot Cam.

Duration 218/228
Valve lift with 1.5 ratio rockers .492/.492
Valve lift with 1.6 ratio rockers .525/.525
LSA 112deg

Edit:

Stock 90-92 L98 cam.
Duration 202/207
1.5:1 .413/.428
1.6:1 .441/.457
LSA 114.5

Stock LT4 cam.
Duration 203/210
1.5:1 .446/.449
1.6:1 .476/.479
LSA 115
