NO more ECM
stock 84 TA L69....
i need a list of parts to take the engine off the computer and what i need to do....i would like to get this done now so i can just swap the engine later on

You'll need a 4MV or other non-CCC carburetor, a mechanical/vacuum advance distributor, and some means to operate the TCC in the transmission and the electric cooling fan (I believe the L69 had an electric fan, right?).

The radiator fan is controlled by a temp switch & relay, not the computer.
Any particular reason you want to go through this downgrade?

Even if you went with a non CC carb, i'd keep the electronic ignition and control it either with an accel ignition controller, or an EFI ecm and a map sensor.

so is there anything i can do now to make it more ready later on...and will anything i could do now make a difference

Have you done anything to upgrade the ignition like module & coil? Subframe connectors, poly suspension bushings, etc.?

The stock module & coil tend to start dying off at around 4500 RPMs.
