You'll need a 4MV or other non-CCC carburetor, a mechanical/vacuum advance distributor, and some means to operate the TCC in the transmission and the electric cooling fan (I believe the L69 had an electric fan, right?).

The radiator fan is controlled by a temp switch & relay, not the computer.

Any particular reason you want to go through this downgrade?

You can run the CC system on a 383. Check out these magazine articles from the TGO home page

Even if you went with a non CC carb, i'd keep the electronic ignition and control it either with an accel ignition controller, or an EFI ecm and a map sensor.

Have you done anything to upgrade the ignition like module & coil? Subframe connectors, poly suspension bushings, etc.?

Subframe connectors are a great investment. I would invest in a set of these in a heartbeat.

The stock module & coil tend to start dying off at around 4500 RPMs.
