Please help!

I just had headers put on my car. I got on the road, and I heard an exhaust leak. They say it's coming from my muffler (there is a hole so that could be true) but it sounds like it could be from the headers too. That, however, isn't my problem, but it could be related.

Every once in awhile (only when I'm off the gas or braking) the car will make an audible pop (could be backfiring)...and the tach will drop immediately to zero and then pop back up to normal. The speedometer also jumps around.

Does anyone know what's going on? Can an exhaust leak right at the headers cause something like this? Do I have another problem?

Thanks!

Oh, they also changed my plugs and wires, I'm thinking this could be it after doing some searching. Is this possible?

Sounds like an electrical problem with the erratic tach movement you described. I would check the primary wiring around and inside the dist.

The idiot shop ignored my car for about 10 days, kept giving me excuses. I was actually on my way out there TONIGHT to go get it and he calls and says he thinks he figured it out.

He said some of my computer grounds were messed up, some not even attached.

I don't know wtf he's talking about.

Does this make sense? Could this be my problem?

Thanks
