Head Milling - Alignment?
I have a question about milling a set of heads.
If I had a set of heads shaved down around .020" from stock, would I run into alignment problems for the intake manifold? Any other problems this could cause?

So I wouldn't have to touch the intake surfaces if I'm only cutting .020?

I haven't put this engine together yet. I'd be shaving the heads to get them down from 68cc chambers to 64cc to raise the compression to where I want it.

I think that as long as the intake manifold edge doesn't rest directly on the china wall all will be fine. I just put my manifold back on, and the silicon bead is pretty thick, even after I torqued the manifold bolts. Certainly much thicker than .060
