Black A/c box?
I no longer have an ac or do i plan on ever getting one, but i still have that ugly black box where the a/c lines run in. question is how do i remove it and cover the giant a$$ hole that's probably going to be behind it?

Hey stroker, I did mine in around 6hrs with a 12pk Metabo style cutoff wheel on a mini grinder. (Motor on stand)A bench and bfh unless you have a metel break? I don't, if you look close you can see my hammer manners. Once you cut that ugly thing out at about 65-75deg angle just eyeball it from the front of your heater core pipes, that away you will keep 2 stock bolt holes for the lid. Then just build little 2x2 strips and bend them to fit as you will have some weird angles, and pop-rivet together useing RTV or whatever you wish to seal it up. The material I used was some ole thin a$$ aluminum that was lying around, cut it out w/my die-grinder same as I used for the fiberous black box removal. And a little metal polish wella
