zinc screw?

zinc screw?
i lost 1 of the little screws holding the fuel pressure regulator cover on. i took a a trip to every hardware store there is around here, and none of them had any with that fine of threads. while i was searching threw my house, i found a zinc screw that fits, and was wondereing if that type of material would fine?

Same thing happened to me, but I haven't found a replacement. I went to 3 different nut & bolt wholesalers and they say it's some sort of weird automotive thread. I don't know what I am going to do. I was thinking of drilling and tapping a new thread??

huh? zinc plated screws are extremely common, but I have no idea what this screw looks like, that holds the fuel pressure regulator cover on...?

most zinc screws i believe are made for wood. the factory screw is tempered steel, and is a bastard to drill threw. no i dont have a pic
