Odd sound

89 GTA, it's been a while since I posted... stats are in sig, it's a procharged (currently no belt though due to needing a diagnosis) with headers, Accell ignition, and so on. It's making a strange sound, as though golf ***** are bouncing around where the catalytic converters used to be (now straight pipe)... it's a daily driver, and it's been on vacation for the winter.... it was fine before storage. Any thoughts? It does need new spark plugs and wires, (bought just not installed yet), and it's due for an oil change.. but I cannot determine what went awry. help!

Still running old gas? Detonation maybe?

I know mine sounds like something knocking around under the tranny when it detonates!

I'd vote for the heat shield rattling around. Might also be the TC cover on the tranny coming loose.
