How do I check if I'm getting good spark?

Just what it says. I want to see that I am getting full power from all 8 plugs. How do I check this?

Car: 1982 Trans-Am
Engine: 355 w/ ported 416s
Transmission: T10, hurst shifter
Axle/Gears: 10 bolt, true-trac, 3.73
ignition tester. hooks up instead of a spark plug. has more resistance. If it sparks, then you'll be damn sure a normal spark plug would be sparking.
