I have read a few books here and there on the modded 350 sbc but, so far none have really any depth on what is needed when tuning one.

I think most people who have a modded sbc knows that each one is differant as far as it's specific needs (timing, afr so on) but in general you have to know where to start what is normal vacume for X cam and y intake. if you run this overlap and dur. it will need so much more or less fuel at idle and so on to even be in the ball park.


I have talked with some guys who are said to know there stuff and it is funny when it comes down to it they arn't any help and give me the thought that they really have no idea
