Every morning my car starts fine, but when i drive it and stop, then restart it acts like it`s not getting enough juice from the battery.it happens every time my car is hot from running that it sound terrible trying to start.i also have headers, dont know if that would effect it

Most likely an old worn out starter.

Having headers run beside them dont help much for their lifespan either!

The samething happened to mine. The EXACT samething. LoL. I figured that mine was because of the headers. My suggestion, buy a new starter(the one on there now might be screwed up) and definately buy a starter wrap/blanket or some header wrap

You could also try using a starter heat sheild. They run for about 10-20 dollars at either an auto parts store or jegs or summit.

There's a similar post in this forum. I got a set of Jet-Hot coated headers and mine hasn't given me any trouble since. You could get a remote solenid as well. It may or may not help.

remanned or not, it should have warranty, so
go exchange for a new one.

if it still does the same thing with another one, u probably did something wrong.. I do that alllll the time.

Its not uncommon to get a crappy remaned unit.

Back in the partsman days it was about a 50/50 chance when i sold a remaned unit that it may or may not work.

For the $20 more i just put in a brand new unit on my car. heck it has a 5 year warranty vs the 90day on the reman!
