Axle/Gears: 3.42
price for heads
how much would a used set of heads go for? does anybody have a set of heads for sale? i have a 1990 IROC-Z 5.7L TPI, i think the casting number is 083 i think :S

Check the classifieds boards. the 083 heads aren't as common as some other head castings, but aren't renowned for being super hot or anything. It's worth whatever you end up paying for it I suppose.

i think their cracked
its burning alot of coolant i think white steam is coming out of the exhaust but it doeant smell sweet its stinky, like really strong exhaust smell

What your describing could just be a blown head gasket. I would check to be sure before buying another set of heads just for that reason.
