Misfiring??

hey i have a 305 and today i put a timing light on each spark plug wire to see if i might have a misfire or something like that because its cugs and hesitates, i just did a whole tune up and the 3rd cylinder with the timing light only comes on 1 in a blue moon when alll the other cylinders flicker like a strobe light...my timing is set to 8*btdc what could this be

bad wire?, bad cap? mayb switch out one wire for another and see if the same wire misses or flickers like normal on another plug (i mean switch the wires at the distributor and at the plug). if the same wire is missing then its a wire, if its not missing then mayb you can look further back at your distributor cap or mayb your rotor. if you find it to be a wiring problem then deffinately replace all your wires because thats a sign of things to come. go with something like 8mm or 7.5mm wires and dont be stingy on the price because its well worth the extra 20buks

ok so i swaped wires and spark plugs,checked timing and reinstaled the distributor cap the tune ups only 2 months old and that cylinder is still doin the same thing i have no clue wut its is could it be the carb or fuel pump
