This weekend I am going to look at an 88' Iroc near where I live. It only has 54,000 miles on it and the body\interior are in near perfect shape. It has the 5.7 in it. He is asking $9,999 but said that the price is flexible down to at least $9,000. I was wondering how much this car is worth\ how much I should be willing to pay for it.

 

Blue book value is like 3 grand. I'd say maybe lay down $7,000 if it was freaking perfect.

Well, i paid $4800 for mine and it had 39,000 miles and was about as mint as they come. Maybe i got lucky i dont know, but i couldnt see laying down $9,000 even it it was perfect.

Yeah that was a deal. But $9000 certainly isn't. I paid $8700 cdn for mine, and it came with C5 wheels and BFG tires. New paint and a mint grey interior out of another car. Not all original, nor low miles though, but the body is in great shape so that doesn't matter.

 

Let the guy keep it a couple of weeks for a reality check. You could get a corvette for that. Some people think they should get every penny they have ever spent out of a car. There are 2 camaros, within 2 miles of mt house. They have been for sale for 6 months. I might stop by in another 2 months.
