how to change the stator(ignition signal sensor)

i have the distributer cap, rotor and the ignition module off, how do i get to the pick up coil with the stuff on top in the way do you pull up, take the hole thing off, i dont know help please!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i was reading and saw i have to take the hole distributer off is it true

The distributor needs to be removed. Once it's out, drive the roll pin out of the distributor gear and shaft, remove the distributor gear and spacers, then remove the distributor shaft. With the shaft out, pickup coil replacement is fairly self-explanatory. Make sure the coil gets centered and does not interfere with the reluctor movement once the distributor shaft is installed.

thanx i did everything but i broke the sleve on the shaft trying to take it off so im going to have to check tomorrow if i could even get it by the piece or assembly
