Ok so I decided to sell my car because I don't have the time or money...I asked my brother to come get it started because the car has sat 3 months thru the winter. He said the spark plugs were all black and oil covered. Then upon furthur inspection he said that gas is mixing in with my oil. I have a 1990 camaro rs v6 3.1. The car looks good yet, just drives like crap and blows a bunch of smoke. Well, is it worth fixing? Do I let it go and if so how much should I ask without ripping someone off. The body is ok, just some minor surface rust in a few spots. Still bright red and I recently had a new ignition put in and the steering column done, fuel lines, brake lines all redone. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

 

another reason I am asking is my brother said he would give me 200 and I don't know if that is just him telling me stuff so I will sell it that cheap or what-yes my brother is that way...hah

I'd say keep it and put a V8 into it...
I sold my 91 bird. it had a 3.1L with a bent valve, hardtop, dented fenders, bent hood(Just to let you know, vandals had a once over on my bird while it was up for sale), but it had no rust. She sold for $2,000 after being up for sale for a week...I would've fixed up. didn't even want to sell her. but I was forced to choose between my 84 TA or my 91 bird...
