Re: starting problem

check ESC Electronic SPARK Control, its located near the brake booster on the driverside near top of the fire wall. Also check you starter/battery connections and check your spark plugs, wires, distributor cap/rotor and ignition control module.

also check your battery voltage. might have power but not enough to start the car which asks for the full 12v/whatever amps it produces.

if all that checks out then i'm lost as to what else it could be. Thats your electronic system right there and don't forget the altnernator.

Well let's talk about it? Is it cranking? Is it clicking? Is it doing nothing?

Re: starting problem

did you do any engine work (ie: swapped motor) that would cause this or did it just happen one morning?

Re: starting problem

ya ive checked the fuses they all seem good the fuel seems fine cause ill spend all day trying to get it to start and at the end of the day ill have less gas than b4. i think its somthing with the spark i cant think of anything else besides the distributor that would cause this any ideas?

Re: starting problem

mayeb the spark which is why i mentioned the ESC and the ignition module. maybe cap or rotor or maybe plugs themselves or wires but i think its something before it gets the plugs so more likely ESC igniton module cap or rotor
