I've never worked on a V6, but that looks like the power steering bracket that broke. You'll need another one off a V6.

trust me you dont need ot yellow box it

it is obvious as hell what happened lol

well thats crazy

what kind of cheap pos bracket is that that it cant even keep from breaking under belt tension ?

wow...

is this a common issue on these later 2.8L engines?

bad deal...

but anyways its an easy fix once a replacement bracket is located
unbolt the broken one from the pump and engine and bolt the new one on and put the belt back on

will need a p/s pulley puller tool kit(free rental at auto zone) to pull the pump pulley off to get to the bracket mounting bolts under it- if theres no room to remove them without removing the pulley since theres no access holes in it

good luck

Hmmmm.... so THAT'S what a 6-cyl motor looks like.....

Yup, my unfailing "sixth sense" says a trip to the junkyard appears to be in your immediate future.

You might have better luck looking for that on a S truck, if you can't find a Camaro or Firebird; AFAIK since they use the same kind of motor, they might also have the same style of bracket.

Missing bolt pretty well explains the breakage.

Can't help you with the size. Where did you get the bracket? I'd think they'd have the bolt, assuming it was a used JY bracket.
