i just had my intake gaskets replaced on my 89 iroc so the oil leaks have stopped..though i still noticed coolant leaking from the intake itself...also it seems that after a while driving like 20 min or so my oil pressure drops to 0 when idling until i hit the gas...not sure if the gauge, sensor, or pump is messed up..need to get a full diagnostic done...any help would be greatly appreciated i dont wanna have to pay an arm and a leg for shop work when i can do it myself...thanks again...i drive it around town at college but im afraid to make the hour and a half trip down the highway home in its present condition without knowing if something is truly wrong

 

how many miles does it have? what kind of pressure does the gauge read when the car is cold?

 

104k miles...and the pressure starts out as right under 30 in the middle of the gauge

 

it is time for a rebuild...

 

yea i was thinking either that or dropping in a 93 LT1 from a vette if i can find one cheap enough
