Well, I was pretty sure I had solved my problem two other times, but this has got to be it. I have bad injectors. Now I need to decide what to do before the weekend. I have seen "cleaning/rehab" discussed and I have seen a variety of types, poundages and purchasing locations discussed. What is the concensous for a 5.7, 89 Iroc. It is completely stock and I will probably leave it that way for quite some time. I have one of the new GTO's if I need any more power. I need to do this as inexpensively as possible, but I want quality. I also wouldnt mind suggestions. (ie. If going from 22 to 24 lbs would allow me cam and headers for minimal cost, then I would go that way)

stock 5.7 used 22 lb bosh style injectors, at 43.5psi
cheapest route would be to find the bad injectors and just replace with stock

but if ur gona replace them all i would go ford SVO 24lb EV1 i believe injectors they are better quality and good price. just incase you upgrade anything down the road. exhaust/cam/intake yadda yadda. u might have to lower the psi with the 24's to about 40psi or less but i wouldnt go less than 38psi.

i just got a set of brand new ford SVO 30lbs for $219 shipped to my door from a ford performance parts distributer. accels are bad and they want 380$ ha venoms suck too.

get the 24's and an adjustable fuel regualtor like a BBK for 60$ so u can play with the psi and also it will give u the extra fuel for future performance upgrades.
