what to do?

I have a 92 camaro with a carburated 350 in it. I'm not sure what I want to do next. So far I have done cam, headers, exhaust. This winter I am putting a shift kit, corvette servo, posi rear end with 373's. I'm going to have roughly 350$ extra to spend. I am looking for any and all suggestions.

Re: what to do?

oh definitely SFC's.
However, which cam and headers did you use? What 350 is it? basic '70s flat tappet block? What heads are on it?

Re: what to do?

The block is a 74 350 out of a Nova with stock heads. It has hedman headers. I put a Summit cam in it with .488 exhaust lift and .465 intake lift with 292 exhaust duration and 282 intake duration. Could you tell me what SFC's are please? Thanks

Re: what to do?

Subframe connectors (which, of course, stiffen the unibody).

Re: what to do?

if it is indeed out of a 74 nova the heads on it will be crap and that is way too much cam for them... that's a recipie for one dog on an engine..

Re: what to do?

I knew that my heads were **** and one of my ideas that I had was to get them ported and polished and then to get my intake ported as well. Would that be a good idea, or should I just save a few more pennies and buy some new heads?

Re: what to do?

Yep, save your cash.
Don't bother porting a stock intake. Or porting an aftermarket one, you're wasting your time.
Porting the stock heads is just a waste of time, particularly those heads. I'd just save up and get some entry level aftermarket ones.

Re: what to do?

Any suggestions on what brand of heads to get. Also what specs should I look for. I'm familiar with everything but still have a lot to learn so any input is appreciated.
