Water Mist cleaner.

Before people come and tell me to search... For the record I have...

Ok. Ive been reading articles about it today and Most people who have credibility on this forum seems to say its Fine to do even beneficial. i have a few days until i do it due to that the car isn't running right now... No fuel line.

So i have no idea if anyone has done this or not if so thank you Id give you a hug if i could.. But has anyone torn down there engine... See what it looked like.. Taking pictures maybe... hopefully... And then put the engine back together. ran the mist through it... And torn it apart again? I know that is a ton of work. but i was just wondering if someone was bored one weekend... and said well dang. Ill pull my head off see what its like put it back on run mist and see how it preforms.

Ive seen pictures that are leaking coolant into the cylinder but thats constant coolant being dumped in... I doubt anyone has pictures like that but if you do then sweet.

Im just looking for evidence. Also any first hand accounts would be nice.

also what about doing it on a newer pickup. Is all you need to do is take the air intake off of the TB and spray it in?.

You've searched eh? B-S. There's a thread about this very topic that's active RIGHT NOW, if you would have scrolled down you would have seen it. There's good info on there, you could have read it, and replied.
I'm getting a little annoyed by people saying that they have searched but couldn't find anything, when the threads are so VERY easy to find. You might as well revive a thread and continue it, if you want more info on that topic.

Re: Water Mist cleaner.

I haven't seen any photos of how it's done, either, and never bothered to take photos while doing it. However, all those disassembly pictures of head or intake gasket leaks should be a good visual indication of how well water cleans the chambers.

For those concerned over using windshield washer solvent, if you understand that the ingredients are water, methanol, and blue dye, you would not have any fear of using it. Tap water is even cheaper (except in Georgia and Arizona).
