Adjusting Idle

I finally got my motor in and running, its got a fairly large cam in it. I got a custom burnt chip from PCMforless. He told me he set the cold start idle to 1050, but the car doesnt want to idle at all, I have to keep my foot on the gas to keep it from stalling. He told me I might have to adjust my TPS.

My question is, whats the proper way to adjust the idle. Should I turn the idle screw a little bit to help it out, try checking the TPS voltage, maybe even adjusting it to a higher voltage? Should I look into the IAC? Do all three of these?

Check out the IAC setting procedures in the tech articles at the home page.
