what would happen....

if i put an 84 chevy 350 cam in a mid to late 70's 350??? i have a brand spankin new cam that came with my kit from northern auto parts its only sock replacement but would it mkae better power than the stock cam from mid to late 70's

The stock cam from the 70's probably has a few worn off cam lobes anyway!

It will run fine.

both of those are smogger and small valve years
so it doesnt matter either way

except thart the new cam wont be worn down

might as well use a brand new smogger cam than run a worn out one
