Seriously need help!@

I did a search but i cant figure out how to reset my timing completely if its at all possible because ive messed with my timing everyday for the past week and it hasnt helped, i went by 0btdc like the hood says, didnt work, so i went by alldata to 6btdc and that was just as bad, so each time i drive it ill bounce to the next setting on the other end so it was 0btdc,6btdc,1btdc,5btdc, etc so on and so foerth and i cant get a good timing at all! Everytime i dissconnect that tan/black wire and unplug my battery so everything resets, so is that how you do it? or what? i want to figure out qwhy my car cant get a good time. its starting to concern me ANY IDEAS???

Re: Seriously need help!@

so thats it? the way ive been doing it is correct? Well if thats the case when i set it to 6, it runs like crap, and at 0, it has no power and wants to die, and i cant find a happy medium anyhwere in between without a high speed miss. What else can cause that?
