305 vs. 350

My 88 GTA came with the 305 TPI, i think its 230hp i was just curious how much different the 350 was over the 305? i think there was like a 10hp differnce and a little more than 10#'s on the torque. also how much of a increase do the vortecs bring with the aftermarket lower intake?

In '88, it was 220/290 for the 305, and 230/330 for the 350. https://www.thirdgen.org/1988-pontiac-firebird

Vortecs would bring a noticeable jump. I'd go with upgraded parts from sdparts.com, personally. http://www.sdparts.com/product/SD806...keHeaders.aspx

To get the most out of it, full exhaust (headers, high flow cat, cat-back) and cam (such as LT4 Hot Cam) would be required. That's basically a 360 GFWHP set-up, which is about 50 NFWHP jump.
