Positive Stop Valve Seals

I have a set or World Heads that are in need of Valve Seals. The OD of the machined Valve Guide measures .538.

All of the Positive Stop Seals that I am finding are made for .530/.531 Guide OD's.

I have never installed Positive Stop Seals, so I don't know if these would fit or not. Ideas?

sig pic is WAY too large, please cut it by 80% or so. thanks.

As for that, I'm pretty sure that they would bolt on no issues, we're talking .007 of an inch. Worst case is call a local speed shop and have them machine the guide down that slight amount. What seals did world use on their assembled heads initially?

World used Umbrella Seals that were the same OD as the Spring Dampers ID so they got chewed up in about 1K mi. Really pissed me off. World didn't want to warranty the issue. Their customer service sucks. So now I am looking into Valve Seal options.

Re: Positive Stop Valve Seals

call a local speed shop/machine shop and just have them put in valve seals and if any guide work is needed it'll be done cheaply. I think I only paid $30 for a pair of heads to get the guides cut for positive type valve seals. Really though with .007 of difference I think the comp white ones in the .53X range should be fine, just make sure not to gall them while installing, use the plastic installer that slips over the end of the valve.
