oh god, i think its a blown head gasket
okay here's the deal. i bought a 91 v6 camaro rs from a guy a little bit back and have been working on restoring it. One of the problems is, it seems to be leaking engine coolant. every time i look the radiaitor is empty. the only problem is, its not leaking OUT of my car as in i never see any puddle on my garage floor. So i started to do a coolant flush and as i was doing it the car died and wouldnt start back up. After doing some research i've heared one of the most common things to explain this is a blown head gasket.so i've check my oil and it does seem a little mily (my engine coolant is yellow not green so its hard to tell). so im wondering if its a blown head gasket and what all would have to be done (am i seriously gonna have to send my heads in to get them redone?). when u try and start the car it'll roll over but it wont fire. so i know no pistons are seized up or anything. how would i got about checking the pressure on this car? i pray my blocks not cracked because where i live getting a new engine would be hell. i do know when it did run before i started the flush it seemed a little slugish but the temp was always about right, around 180 degrees. any help is always appreciated

Touch the oil with you finger. IF there is coolant in there it will seem like curduld (spelling?) milk. did you ever notice any white smoke coming out of the exaust? Another sign is the motor might skip with a bad head gasket.

raining right now so i cant go look, but yes when u let it roar it does smoke. not from engine out the exhaust. should it be the gasket, what all do i need to replace it. i know the head gasket, but anything else, sealant, other gaskets, etc...

If its loosing tranny fluid, but no puddles, check out your radiator. The tranny cooler lines attach to the radiator, maybe tranny fluid is leaking into the radiator.
Sounds like a blown head gasket too, with it smoking and losing coolant.

Head gaskets blowing is usually a "symptom". You also need to determine the underlying "problem" that caused the gasket to blow or it will likely happen again.
