I got a 1987 camaro v6 2.8 its been sittin for some time and i got it running and it starts to knock after it gets warm i was thinking a 327 or an LT1 i was wondering if any of u guys got any info on those motors of which will be better i am restoring the car i dont want it for racing so any input would be great on wat i should do motor , trans, rear wise thanks
i dunno if the motor in it now is the oil pump or the lower part of motor is going but my best bet is a new motor prolly im not sure

theyre good engines ,but parts for the 350 are a lot more plentiful.350 makes good power stock.you can pick up 1 for a couple hundred bucks at most junkyards,jimmy
