distributor for timing

Car: 1988 camaro rs
Engine: 305 v8
distributor for timing

okay! so im just going right out and saying it im a noob i love cars and want to understand them better SO!

my car is bogging and stalling when it idles, i cant drive it. so im woundering how to turn the distributor to make the timing better to fix this plz and thanks for the help!

Do you know anybody with any mechanical knowledge? If so, ask them to help you check/adjust the timing on your car. After watching/assisting them, you should be able to do it yourself. (only takes a few minutes)

For me, it is always easier to SEE how things are done rather than read about it.
