Pedal a bit stiff?
When I press on my acceleration pedal its a bit stiff to press down; its not as a "ease" to press as some other cars may feel. I don't know if its normal or some kind of build up?
Also is that octane enhancer any good? I've been seeing it around like +7 to +12 octane to your gas... Help at all?

When the throttle shaft (Shaft that holds the throttle (butterfly) blades) gets worn and loose, it can hang up, especially when they're opening from a fully closed position.
Does it suddenly spring free coming off the line?

I actually like having a really stiff pedal, all my cars/trucks have 'em except my 91 bird

Mine has always done that. I found that a few sprays from a can of throttle body cleaner actualy freed it up temporarily.

Re: Pedal a bit stiff?
Pedal stiffness is related to throttle spring, I wouldn't worry about it. Of my 2 thirdgens (TBI and V6) both pedals are stiff as hell. I've sat in a buddy's TPI car and his pedal was lighter than my dad's Hyundai.
If your engine is stock, or anything other than a built up top performing street/strip motor, octane booster is useless. Higher octane mean higher resistance to engine detonation. If your not detonating, you don't need it. Even if you are detonating, and your engine is stock, you don't need it and you have a problem.

Re: Pedal a bit stiff?
My TA was built by the previous owner and had a sticky throttle cable. The cable was on the outside of the shaft mount, so I put it to the inside and its as smooth as butter.
