350 heads on a 305?

Will 350 heads fit on a 305? I'm looking for more power without the price. It's a 86 trans am with a quad jet and 5 spd. What other options do i have? I'm getting an intake sat. and headers. But would still like more power. What can i do?

Re: 350 heads on a 305?

it really depends on the valve size but as long as they are 1.94 or smaller technically they will fit but you will lose power due to a lower compression ratio ur heads now should be 58cc and 350 normally range from 62cc-74cc so they will physically bolt on but would not be a good idea.
try searching before asking questions. u will normally find the answer you need alot faster than waiting for someone to post a reply and if it is a question that has been asked a million times like this one most people are not going to be very nice about the answer.
